Helix Jump
More games to play
Helix Jump is a free browser game you can play on desktop or mobile, no download needed. It works in the browser, so it runs at school or work wherever casual games are allowed. You control a bouncing ball dropping down an endless helix tower. The goal is simple: rotate the tower so the ball falls through the gaps. Touch a forbidden colored zone and the run ends.
What is Helix Jump?
Helix Jump is an arcade game built around a single rotating tower. Each level is an endless column of stacked platforms with gaps cut into them. You spin the whole tower left or right to line those gaps up under the falling ball. The platforms come in safe and forbidden colors. Land on a forbidden zone and you lose your progress immediately. The tower speeds up and the gaps shrink as the levels climb, so what feels easy at the start gets punishing quickly.
How to rotate and drop
One control does everything: drag or tap to spin the tower.
| Action | Desktop | Mobile |
|---|---|---|
| Rotate tower left | Drag mouse left | Swipe left on screen |
| Rotate tower right | Drag mouse right | Swipe right on screen |
| Ball drop | Automatic (gravity) | Automatic (gravity) |
Fireball mode and green arrow power-up
Two power-ups change how a run plays out.
| Power-up | How to trigger it | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Fireball mode | Chain 3 or more consecutive gaps without touching a platform | Ball is invincible on the first bounce, passes through forbidden zones, and destroys the platform it lands on |
| Green arrows | Collect green arrow icons during a run | Provides a secondary boost; follow the arrow indicators to activate |
Missions, coins, and ball skins
The left side of the screen shows active missions. Completing them earns coins, which you spend in the shop on ball skins. There are 27 skins split into three rarity tiers: common, rare, and funky. None of them change how the ball moves, so the choice is purely cosmetic. Coins accumulate across runs, so even short sessions add up toward the next unlock.
Surviving longer: a few practical tips
- Watch the forbidden color one or two platforms ahead, not directly under the ball. You need rotation time.
- Chaining gaps deliberately is worth it. Three consecutive clean drops trigger fireball mode, which gives you a free pass through the next forbidden platform.
- When fireball is active, aim for the forbidden zones on purpose to destroy them and clear a safer path below.
- Shorter rotations are more precise than big sweeping drags. Small corrections beat overcorrecting.
- Check the mission list before each run. Some missions steer you toward specific behaviors (such as chaining gaps) that you might already be doing.
